Something that I have always wondered about – the place of birth control in the life of a Christian. Note that this will not make any sense nor apply to non-Christians. If you believe that God is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent, the you must concede that God knows about everything and understands everything. Depending on your stance on freewill verses predestination and God controlling everything, God also has control over your actions and choices. Er-go God would know when you are ready to have children and when you should have them. You don't need to worry about it, God has no problem providing for his children. If you and your marital partner have a kid, God wanted you to have the child, who are you to argue with that? If you are living in a Godly marriage then you need not worry about if your ready or not to be a parent. Therefore a Christian should have no need to practice any kind of birth control. It grieves me and I think God, to see His creation (us humans) pervert his natural plan, by trying to manipulate our lives for our own selfish sinful goals. I would appreciate any feedback on why a Christian should use contraceptives other then medical conditions that would for some reason require that type of medicine.
